Merry Monday 148:

Hi all!  Happy March to you! Sorry I haven't been around much because I got this "super fantastic" idea to switch my craftroom and guest bedroom with each other.

Needless to say, here is my "new" craftroom right now.  As you can see, there isn't much crafting going on!  All the bedroom furniture is out (in the hallway) and now all the craftroom furniture has to come in.  What a gong show!!! Leave it to me to give myself extra work. all. the. time.  Hopefully I can finish up this week and get some crafting time in!

With that being said this week at Merry Monday, I have chosen the theme of using RED AND GREEN on your Christmas card:

I am not traditional.  Never have, probably never will be =)  I have always prided myself of being different and unique and the carries into crafting as well!  So to challenge myself I chose red and green.

Laughably though, my photo turned out a smidge on the pink side (pink and green - ooohhh, that IS pretty), but really it's cherry red - I promise!!

Everything you see below are products from Reverse Confetti including Tag MeCircle 'n Scallops and Triple Chevies Confetti Cuts.  The sentiment is also from RC's Seasonal Sentiments stamped in Versafine Onyx Black.  I finished it all off with American Crafts twine and a Studio Calico clothespin.  (sorry, some of the product list is not complete as RC's website was done at the time of this post).  The paper is from Doodlebug's Santa Express collection.

Hello all!  Another chilly day out there, I woke up this morning and it was a balmy -44C (-44F).  Now I know what you are thinking, do people actually live in that kind of weather/climate??  The answer is yes, crazy people do ;)

But the perfect day to spend indoors right??

So today I started with some of my favourite products from Reverse Confetti including Tag Me and Love Blooms Confetti Cuts.  The blooms are stamped in Hero Arts Pastel Peach and Pastel Green and the leaves are in Memento's Cottage Ivy.  The sentiment is from Reverse Confetti's In A Big Way stamped in Versafine Onyx Black.  I created some texture with Simon Says Stamp Chevron Pattern stencil with Ranger Texture paste.  I finished it all off with American Crafts twine and Doodlebug Lily White sprinkles.

I've slowly been working on my photography "skills" (I use the term skills loosely).  I have been trying to create a "look" for myself - it's a little overboard and different, just like me =)

Well that is it for me today!  Enjoy your weekend - cheers!!!

RC Orange Friends:

Good morning all!  Happy Sunday to you!  I hope you have been enjoying your weekend - I have been spending it indoors as we got a dump load of snow on Saturday.

I was asked by CAS on Sunday to be the guest designer this week as I was a winner a few weeks ago.  Of course I said yes!!

This week the challenge is CHEVRONS

created my chevron with Simon Says Stamp Chevron Pattern stencil sponged in Memento Tangelo.  The oranges are from Reverse Confetti's Fresh 'n Fruity Confetti Cuts and stamps in Memento Tangelo and Hero Arts Orange Soda and the sentiment is stamped in Versafine Onyx Black.  I finished it all off with some Doodlebug Beetle Black Sprinkles.

I had so much fun with the orange card that I decided to make a set!

The lemons are the same as above but stamped in Memento's Cantaloupe and Dandelion inks.

And while I was at it, I made a lime version as well - stamped in Memento's Bamboo Leaves and Cottage Ivy inks.

Well that's it for me today - have a super fantastic weekend!  Cheers!!

Merry Monday 145:

Happy Monday all!!  I hope you enjoyed your weekend and got some crafting time in.

This week at Merry Monday, Wendy has chosen the theme of using a CANDY CANE on your Christmas card:

This one was a challenge for me - apparently I don't own anything with candy canes.  NO stamps, NO papers, NO nothing.  Then I found this chipboard candy cane that I have had in my stash for years and years (probably 6 + years) and thought - yippeee!!  Now *this* I can work with!  I love to give an old stash a new purpose!

The candy cane is from atd Christmas Party chipboard stickers (absolutely no link available).  I also used Paper Smooches Christmas Words 2 wise dies for the pink sentiment.  I finished it all off with a simple bow with American Crafts twine and added some stitching.  Bingo-bango - done!
