StampFairy George Cocoa

The last day of 2010! We are ringing in the New Year with approximately 5000 other people - hmmmmmmm, should be very interesting. Usually we stay home and are in bed before midnight, so this will take us a bit out of our comfort zone LOL. Wish us luck!!!

StampFairy World is going out with a bang in 2010 with another New Release/Freebie Friday.

I didn't make a card today with the New Release, but I did make a cutie of a card with Thank You Lenny.

Look at his little tummy - don't you just want to give it a squeeze!

Card Ingredients:
StampFairy image; K&Co papers; Recollections cardstock; Copics; Gelly Roll white pen; Labels Three Nesties; Recollections gems; Celebrate It ribbon; Dress It Up button; hemp twine.

SSW 82 - Bugaboo

ABC Christmas Blog Hop - please go {here}

What a busy week it has been so far. I haven't been able to do much crafting. I have been hard at work on my holidays to get my craft room up to snuff. In total from Christmas I either bought or received 9 more JetMax storage cubes. I have been busy putting them together and organizing everything into the drawers and shelves. I can't wait to share photos when it is finished. It is so hard to believe that I started with a $15 monthly craft budget just over a year ago. Since I really enjoy making and giving cards, I have invested more money into it now. It is so nice to have more creative freedom now with a bit more crafting money.

As usual I am babbling... sorry!

It is the last Wednesday of 2010!! WOW! I guess that means it's also the last Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge of the year too!

We are sponsored by Jodie at Bugaboo Stamps! I just love her images and I use them as much as I can. Jodie is giving the winner this week seven digis, a total value of $21 USD!!! Sa-weeet!

I used WOB Ladybug...

...on another of Arlana's great sketches:

Isn't she just darling?!?

Card Ingredients:
Bugaboo image; KI Memories papers; Recollections cardstock; Copics; Gelly Roll white pen; Circle and Scalloped Circle Nesties; Fiskars Threading Water border punch; Celebrate It ribbon; Dress It Up button; hemp twine.

But it is back to business as usual *heehee*

It's another great start to the week as StampFairy Challenge has another new challenge and it is: Celebrate! Your card must have a sentiment of what you are celebrating.

I apologize that I didn't get to visit our entries last week as I was just so, so busy. I promise to visit each and every one of you this week.

++++ THREE more days until Christmas ++++

I can finally say it! Tomorrow is my last day of work until my 10 1/2 days off! (and yes, the 1/2 day counts LOL). And then Christmas Eve is right away, followed by Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Two of my favorite days of the year!!!! I am SO ready!!

Many people don't really much care for Boxing Day. If you aren't familiar with this day, it is considered a STAT holiday where I live in Canada. I compare it to Black Friday in the States. My husband, his family, and myself, get up nice and early, grab a cup of hot coffee and go shopping ALL DAY LONG. We shop and eat until we drop! It is our tradition and I LOVE IT! I usually get up extra early to go to Michaels by 7Am just to do my own shopping first, then I go with my sister-in-law later in the day.
ETA: For the record (and to settle some of my commentors), I know Boxing Day is not a STAT everywhere. It is at my work and that is all that counts ;)

I am babbling, but this will be my last blog post until next Monday as I am taking a bit of a Christmas break from crafting. I just thought I would share a bit of my holiday fun with everyone!

I mustn't forget that not only is it 3 days until Christmas, but it is also Sweet Sketch Wednesday too! This week we are being sponsored by the lovely Heather at Fresh Brewed Designs. The winner will get to chose 3 images of their choice!!!

I used this little cutie, Angel Cake...

...on Arlana's beautiful sketch:

She looks like she's ready to go Boxing Day shopping!

Card Ingredients:
Fresh Brewed image; DCWV 'Tis the Season papers; Recollections cardstock; Copics; Oval and Circle Nesties; Martha Stewart Mica tinsel glitter; Dress It Up button; Celebrate It ribbon; dew drops; hemp twine.

Okay! StampFairy has been asked to sponsor the ABC Christmas Challenge Blog Hop!! And as you are aware (well, most of you), I have been on the StampFairy DT for the past couple of months. So any chance I get to put out the good StampFairy word, I will do so!!

So, on with the hop!

Here are the rules:

In order to win the 1st, 2nd or 3rd place prize you will need to collect all the letters, comment on ABC Christmas Blog and play along with the ABC Christmas Challenge.

Not a rule, but a bonus to you:
Check out the StampFairy Challenge, as you may also be able to combine your card with both challenges. You will have a 2nd opportunity to win some StampFairy images!

So if you didn't start at ABC Christmas Challenge then you need to go there to play along. If you've come here from Dora's fabbie blog then you are right where you should be!

Z is for Zero time left!!!! This challenge and blog hop is open until January 1st! Merry Christmas everyone!
