Surprise Birthday:

StampFairy is surprise celebrating Gerda's birthday today!! Now if you don't know Gerda, she is the creative mastermind behind StampFairy. If you come to my blog often, you will notice that I LOVE her digis and use them quite a lot.

So we are having a Virtual Surprise Birthday Party Blog Hop in honour of Gerda!

If you have arrived from StampFairy Blog, then you are on the right track - if not, please start from the beginning and help us celebrate.

To celebrate Gerda's birthday, I am bringing the balloons to celebrate by using Lenny Love:
Lenny Love

on each team member's blog with a birthday wish for Gerda.

I will randomly draw a comment to win the digi I used on my card:

Lilly Window

{Under Construction - I am in the process of re-doing my blog. Everything has run amuck!}

Well as you can see, I am in the middle of blog construction. Please bare with me as I get it fixed up. Like everything else that I do, I love to give EVERYTHING a face lift. Just ask my husband, nothing is in the same place for more than 6 months at home. I do believe they call it "staging" now. I think he finds me frustrating LOL. But you know, I have been doing this kind of stuff since I was a little girl.

So what is my new blog going to look like? I HAVE NO IDEA! Maybe I should have thought of that before I cleared all my templates LOL - oh well!! A nice fresh start :)

On to business here... today I am sharing a window card with you all. This is my very first window card and didn't follow any tutorials (silly me). It was kind of rough sailing at first, but in the end I think it turned out pretty good!

I used Lilly Playing {found here}:

Good morning! It is a beautiful Thursday morning here. It has cooled a bit overnight and the sun is just coming over the trees in the horizon. Thursday is going to be a good day, I can just feel it!

Today I have a special card to share with you all. It is my 2nd easel card (I think I am getting the hang of it!). Of course now I see people are now making shaped easel cards - see, told you I was behind times!!

I started with Cowboy Piggy {found here}:

There is just something about this critter that I love! I don't get a chance to use him a lot, but when I do, he puts a big smile on my face - wouldn't you agree!?!?

StampFairy Challenge - Christmas Easel

Today's Ramblings: Good morning. I hope you all enjoyed the weekend. I spent Saturday in the craft room and Sunday outside in the yard. If only I had just a few more days of weekend, then I could have a relaxing day too. This weekend coming up is a long weekend - my FAVORITE!!!

Next Monday is "August Long", or "Civic Holiday", or "Saskatchewan Day", depending on who you ask around here. I always call it August Long Weekend. It's really the last official holiday of the Summer.

Today's DT Challenge: The new theme at StampFairy Challenge is a Christmas Easel card. Which is quite appropriate, as Christmas is exactly FIVE months away!!!

This is my first easel card but have always wanted to try one. I know, I know, I am ages behind!

I used Clementine Love {found here} and made her Christmas-y:

Doesn't Clemmy make the perfect Christmas card?!?!? I know it's a bit on the bold side, but that's how I roll ;)
