Awesome Molly:

Good morning Friday! I am still in a sleepy daze so if I make any spelling mistakes or don't make sense, you'll understand, right?

Oh how I LOVE polka dots (that, and gingham).  I need to find a big pack of paper that is only polka dots - I would be in heaven :)

I brought out my yummy cherry paper and colored Molly in cherry red:
Card Ingredients:  StampFairy digi, Recollections papers, DCWV and Recollections cardstock, Prismacolor Pencils (email me for complete color list), Martha Stewart Monarch Butterfly punch, Recollections pearls.  Tools:  sewing machine.

I made Miss Molly for the following challenges:   DYSU? - in stitches, Perfect Sentiments - uplifting with sketch, Ladybug Crafts - spots and stripes, Crop Stop - bright colors, The Poodles Parlour - spots.

Friday also brings StampFairy's new release - meet Barry Boxing:

Every time I hear the birds chirping before the sun rises, I believe it's going to be a good day.  Those lil birds were chirping their hearts out this morning, I love hearing them outside my craft room window.  It's going to be a good day :)

Bubbles:

Good morning!

I have another House-Mouse card to share with you all.  I had purchased a handful last month and have been having so much fun finally being able to ink them up.

This cutie is Lemonade Bubbles, though I turned it into orange juice.  Originally I was going to make this into a masculine card and I thought no man would drink pink lemonade, hence it is orange.  But as you can see the girly colors won and now it is for a special lady :)
Card Ingredients:  House Mouse stamp, CraftSmart Black ink, K&Co papers,  DCWV and Recollections cardstock, Rectangle Nestie, Fiskars Swiss Dots border punch, Prismacolor Pencils (email me for complete list), Doodlebug bakers twine, Dress It Up buttons, Recollections pearls.  Tools:  sewing machine.

I made this bubbles card for the following challenges:  Top Tip Tuesday - animals,  Use it Tuesday - uninked stamps/hoarded stash (House-Mouse stamp/my colorful twine and lemon paper),  Shopping Our Stash - circle/dots,  House-Mouse - Let's Party, Sketch Saturday - sketch 200:

Top Tip tippy - I save all my kraft paper scraps, perfect for stamping.  Kraft paper looks great with any light colors or glass/bottle/jar images.  The whites pop out of the kraft color.  It's my new favorite technique and can't seem to stop!!

The sun is rising so that is my queue to get ready for work - have a wonderful Wednesday and thanks for the visit!

Sharing a Drink:

Good morning - here we are at Monday again, sneaks up so quickly.  The good news?  Friday is only a few days away ;)

Last week I had done some coloring on kraft paper and liked how it turned out so much that I tried it again this week. I find the colors really pop, especially anything light or white.  Perfect when working with a jar or glass!

And check out these two cuties:  Amanda and Maxwell - Sharing a Drink:
Card Ingredients:  House Mouse stamp, CraftSmart Black ink, K&Co and Recollections paper,  Recollections cardstock, Square Nestie, Prismacolor Pencils (email me for complete list), Martha Stewart bakers twine, Dress It Up buttons.  Tools:  sewing machine.

I made this cutie pair for the following challenges: Annabelle Stamps - twine, Totally Gorjuss - spots and stripes,  Drunken Stampers - I'll drink to that,   Sweet Sketch Wednesday - sketch #146:

Have a wonderful Monday!

3 Popsicles:

I have been waiting patiently to find the right image to go with my little Haagen-Dazs popsicle sticks.  We had these treats in January and I just knew if I saved the sticks that I could eventually use them on a card.  I found a freebie from Pattie's Creations - must have been my lucky day!

And look how adorable the card turned out!
Card Ingredients:  Pattie's Creations digi, Recollections papers, Bazzill and Recollections cardstock, EK Success corner punch, Dress It Up button, Doodlebug bakers twine, recycled popsicle sticks.

I made this card for the following challenges:  Pattie's Creations - anything goes, little red wagon, One Stop Craft, and Stamping Boutique - CAS,  Less Is More - take 3 old challenges (wk 38- polka dots, wk 40 - red and orange, wk 44 - green).

Thanks for visiting and have a lovely Sunday.

Baby Emma's Card:

Good morning evening - wait, how did it become evening already?!  I had today off and only managed to get one card done all day?!  How is that even humanly possible??

I have a really special card to share with you - for a special little lady that made her appearance into this world on Tuesday.

I used Baby Dotty and gave her a cutie polka dotted onsie.  Unfortunately my shimmer paper washed out the sentiment when I photographed it.

I also made the inside all pretty-like too.  I used Baby Jake but turned him into a little girl - sssshhhhh, no one has to know.
Card Ingredients:  StampFairy digis, graphic 45 Little Darlings papers, DCWV and Recollections cardstock, Prismacolor Pencils (email me for complete color list), Gelly Roll white pen, Doodlebug bakers twine, Dress It Up button, Recollections pearls.  Tools:  sewing machine, edge scraper.

I made this baby card for the following challenges:  4 Crafty Chicks - music inspired, Create Me Pink - distressing, Dutch Dare - cute and cuddly, Delicious Doodles - wonder of life, CCEE Stampers - sentiment as the focus.

And once again I musn't forget to tell you about StampFairy's new release and Freebie Friday - Barry Bunny:

Sweet Birthday Fishes:

Good morning.  Well it should be an interesting drive to work this morning.  We have snow and freezing rain which is being blown by the wind, so everything vertical is complete ice.  I couldn't get back into the house this morning as the door handle was frozen shut.  I am not looking forward to driving in this.

If you wonder why I talk about the weather a lot, well there isn't much happening before 6AM and I lead a dreadfully boring life :)

At the beginning of the month I ordered a big package of House-Mouse stamps.  I finally got to ink one up to try a new technique (for myself) - coloring on kraft paper.

This little cutie is Fish Tales and the House-Mouse challenge is an inspirational photo of cupcakes.  Unfortunately I don't have any cake related stamps so I used the colors as my inspiration:
Card Ingredients:  House Mouse stamp, CraftSmart Black ink, Echo Park Spots & Stripes paper,  Recollections cardstock, Prismacolor Pencils (email me for complete list), Martha Stewart bakers twine, Dress It Up buttons.  Tools:  sewing machine.

I made this Birthday Fishes card for the following challenges:   The Pink Elephant - use kraft paper, CES Challenges - kolour on kraft, Sketch N Stash -  stash (cardstock scraps) new (stamp) and sketch 83, House-Mouse & Friends - inspirational photos (again, I was inspired by the colors), The Kraft Journal - anything goes with kraft.

So that's that!  Have a wonderful Tuesday and thanks for the visit.

Purple Dahlia:

Good morning - I hope you all had a great and restful weekend.  I have been busy working on a scrapbook which I am finding rather difficult.  I am trying to keep it simple yet I want it to look like I spent weeks on it (which won't be far from the truth).  The most difficult part:  no photos - they will be added in later.  It's hard for my to be crafty when I don't see the big picture, so to speak.

I was able to work on a card, I used Dahlia again - there is just something about this stamp that I can't get enough of, I love coloring it.

Card Ingredients:  Clear Dollar Stamps digi, K&Co paper, Recollections cardstock, Prismacolor Pencils (email me for complete color list), Labels 18 Nestie, Martha Stewart bakers twine, Dress It Up buttons.  Tools: sewing machine.

I made this flower card for the following challenges:   Catered Crop - stitching, Stamptacular Sunday - use buttons (I used 2), The Crafty Pad - pairs.

Have a wonderful Monday - see you soon!

Molly in Pink:

Good morning Friday!

Today I have another Molly card to share and I felt that it needed some bright colors in lieu of Spring.  We pretty much have zero snow left and everything is dead and brown.  Come on Spring - I can see you just around the corner!!

I even tried a new technique of scoring a pattern on the white cardstock - but you can't even see it.  Oh well, I know it's there :)
Card Ingredients:  StampFairy digi, Echo Park Dots & Stripes papers, DCWV and Recollections cardstock, Prismacolor Pencils (email me for complete color list).  Tools:  sewing machine, score pad.

I made Miss Molly for the following challenges: Digital Tuesday and Sweet Stamps - think spring, Crafts and Me - circles, Skipping Stones - sketch by Angi Barrs and blog hop.

And once again I musn't forget to tell you about StampFairy's new release - Barry Easter:

Lamb Diaper Cake:

Good morning!  Obviously I have no idea what day it is - I thought it was Thursday today... but apparently I am wrong :)

I have been working on projects for a good friend's baby shower.

This is my first diaper cake - I wanted something different and unique.  The paper basket stuffing is supposed to look like fun icing.  It looks a bit unruly in this photo, but it actually turned out pretty cute in person.

I also made a dress banner with eight little dresses:

Thanks for stopping by!

Good morning all!  Here we are at Tuesday and it's almost mid-way through March - wowzers!  The weather has been gorgeous and so unlike any other winter we have had.  This Fall I am planting tulips so I can watch them come up next Spring - such a lovely way to say goodbye to Winter.

Flower Boxes:

Good morning all.  I had a busy weekend and got lots accomplished.  It was such a lovely weekend, weather-wise, unfortunately I didn't get to enjoy it as I had myself cooped-up in my craftroom.

Today I don't have a card to share but I wanted to show you want I have been busy with.  My very good friend is expecting a baby any day now and I am in charge of decorating, this is my first baby shower where I am not just a guest.  I tried to think of all things handmade and this is what I came up with:

Not really too sure what they are - let's call them flower boxes :)

I searched the interent for tissue paper flower directions and came up with NOTHING (how is that even possible!).  Everything out there I found was for giant pom poms, even though it said flowers - trust me, this wasn't my first batch of flowers.  In the end, I made my own instructions and was happy how they turned out.

The boxes are recycled Kleenex holders.  They worked perfectly:  the flower just sits in the hole where the Kleenex comes out - no mess!
Flower Box Ingredients:  recycled Kleenex containers, Celebrate It Pink paper crinkle basket stuffer, Celebrate It ribbon, K&Co paper, Recollections cardstock, Beaded Circle Nestie, Martha Stewart Monarch Butterfly punch, Recollections pearls, gold wire, stashed chipboard letters, and HOT GLUE!  Flower Ingredients:  Hot Pink tissue paper, pipe cleaners.

I made these flower boxes for the following challenges:  Secret Crafter - no images, just words, The Pink Elephant - inspiration photo, Paper Sundaes - feminine flair, Quirky Crafts - circles, gems/pearls, and flowers for a special lady, Crafty Purple Frog - pink and girly.

Thanks for the visit!  Next on the list:  diaper cake.  Wish me luck!

Good morning Friday - yippee!  I plan on spending the whole weekend in my craft room.  I am in charge of decorations for a good friend's baby shower and I want to get it all just right.  I think I will be making tissue paper flowers until my eyes fall out ;)

I have another Miss Molly card to share with you.  Just look at her little jeans - so CUTE!
StampFairy digi, Echo Park Dots & Stripes and K&Co papers, DCWV and Recollections cardstock, Prismacolor Pencils (email me for complete color list), BasicGrey button, Martha Stewart bakers twine, Recollections gem.  Tools:  sewing machine.

And I musn't forget to tell you about StampFairy's Barry Easter, today's new release:
