Polka Dot Dolls:

Good morning all!  I hope the weather has been good to you.  We have been having some terrible early Summer storms, in fact while I was making this card I was praying that the power wouldn't go out :)  But all was/is well and we can finally cool off with a nice cool breeze this morning.

Oh how I LOVE polka dots.  Really I do.  Small dots, medium dots, large dots.  In fact I need to buy more polka dot paper, I can never really have enough!

I used this sweet little Nesters doll and paper pieced her in lots of polka dots :)

Summer Gretal:

Good morning all - I hope you enjoyed your weekend.  The weather was just perfect so we spent a lot of time outside enjoying the fresh air.

I also spent a wee bit of time in my craft room - I had received my big order from C.C. Designs a few weeks ago and have been itching to use the adorable little die cuts and stamps.
After the fact, I felt it needed some stitching (I mean, when don't I stitch) but of course couldn't get it in the sewing machine.  So I brought out my trusty white gel pen, I figured something was better than nothing :)
Card Ingredients:  C.C. Designs Gretal stamp, Craftsmart Black ink, K&Co paper, DCWV, Bazzill and Recollections cardstock, Prismacolor Pencils (email me for complete list), Gelly Roll white pen, C.C. Designs Fence Border, Grass Border, Flower Border, and Clouds die cuts, Copic outline pen, Stampendous! Kaleidoscope embossing powder (unheated), My Mind's Eye bakers twine, Doodlebugs button.

I made Gretal for the following challenges:  Sweet Stamping Pixies - summer pixies, Charisma Cardz and Cute Card Thursday - summer, The Paper Shelter - outdoors, Dream Valley - wings, PaperPlay - die cuts.

With all her adorable creations, Pam @ Expressions With Heart, has been an inspiration.  Be sure to go pay her a visit, I am sure you will be inspired like I was.

Have a wonderful day!

Gingy Bread Head:

Good morning all.  Here we are again at Friday, the weeks seem to be flying by!

With it getting towards the end of June, that means it's the half way to mark until Christmas - only six more months.  If it has flown by the way the first half has, it will be here before you know it. (but let's enjoy Summer while it's here!)

I cut out pieces of Gingy and slapped them on the card, not sure if I like it or not - maybe it looks like a big floating head?  Oh well - it's too late to turn back now :)

Card Ingredients:  StampFairy digi, American Crafts papers, Recollections cardstock, Prismacolor Pencils (email me for complete list), Gelly Roll white pen, Dress It Up button, Martha Stewart bakers twine, Stampendous! Kaleidoscope embossing powder.  Tools:  sewing machine, embossing gun.

Hawaiian Butterflies:

Good morning all - now how did it become Wednesday already??  Summer is in the air and just don't have as much time to devote to crafting as I would like.  It feels strange to come into my craft room only a few times a week but we must enjoy the sun while it lasts!

Speaking of nice weather, I have a warm and summery card to share with you.  I found this beautiful Hibiscus freebie and used a little magic to reproduce the image a few more times to make it "travel" up the side of my card.  I LOVE using digis as background design paper.
