Hawaiian Birgitta:

Good morning all, it has finally cooled off - it's so nice to have the windows open with a cool breeze coming through my craftroom.

So I decided to try something new (actually two things).  One is coloring my own sky (thank you Annette!), which you can't really see because it got covered.  And two, paper flowers.  The first I love and will continue to do.  The latter I will never *hopefully* have to do again - I had hot glue everywhere and I just could NOT get my flowers rolled nicely.

And because I am feeling crazy, I am putting in my name for a DT position at All That Scraps.  There are quite a few entries so wish me luck!!!

I inked up my new Hawaiian Birgitta - isn't she a doll?  I gave some lil jean shorts and paper pieced her a flower shirt:
Card Ingredients:  C.C. Designs Swiss Pixies stamp, Craft Smart Black ink and Recollections Breeze chalk ink, Echo Park So Happy Together and Hello Summer papers, DCWV and Recollections cardstock, Prismacolor pencils (email me for complete list), Gelly Roll white pen, Recollections branch, KaiserCraft Sparklets.  Tools:  sewing machine, C.C. Ice Cream Truck:

Good morning all!  Here we are at Thursday again (not that I am complaining).

I made another shaped card, it just adds a little bit of fun to any image.  I used Scoops Ice Cream Truck and paper pieced the whole thing:

Card Ingredients:  Clear Dollar Stamps digi, Echo Park Dots & Stripes and My Mind's Eye papers, Recollections cardstock, Dress It Up buttons, Glossy Accents, My Mind's Eye bakers twine. Tools:  sewing machine.

Top Tip Tuesday Tip - making shaped cards is SO easy!  When using a digi - just place it at the bottom of your page (I use Word 2010).  Print out, use your score board, fold, and cut.  It's just that easy and makes a big impact.  Perfect for a little guy!

I made this ice cream card for the following challenges:  Sweet Stampin'  Crafty Ann's and Squigglefly - paper piecing, 4 Crafty Chicks - stripes, Cards For Men - masculine birthday, There She Goes - stitching, Top Tip Tuesday - masculine.

Thanks for the visit - have a wonderful Thursday!

Good morning all!  My goodness, it was SO hot out yesterday.  Last night we had a big storm that kept me up for over an hour - I was worried that it would wake up my little puppy but she slept through the whole thing.  I guess I need to take sleeping tips from her!

StampFairy is sponsoring ABC Christmas Challenge's N is for Not A Card challenge.

I attempted to make a little candy box using Lenny Winter and a gable box template:
(I originally had a big bow on the box, but took it off as I felt it overpowered lil Lenny)
