This week's challenge at Papercraft Star is "Happy Birthday":

I inked up some my JustRite (Amazing Paper Graces) stamps and stamped my little heart out.  I added my bow and decided I didn't like the look of it so I pinned up the ends - I'm still not sure if I am a fan of it or not, but what's done is done :)

Two Pandas:

Good morning all.  I had such a great weekend that I am sad to see it go but I suppose if I want great weekends, I should to work on the weekdays :)

This week StampFairy is sponsoring Sketch N Stash's sketch challenge:

I actually had a difficult time with this sketch at first as I took it quite literally.  If you check the Sketch N Stash DTs samples, you will notice that no one had trouble with it, in fact, they all rocked it :)

I wanted to make a little boys card so I dusted off my Panda Paul stamps (can you dust off a digi stamp?) and had a lot of fun.  No sparkle, no bows, no flowers :)
Card Ingredients:  StampFairy digi, Recollections papers, Recollections cardstock, Prismacolor pencils, Making Memories buttons.  Tools:  mineral spirits and blending stumps, sewing machine, Star Nesties, Making Memories edge distresser.

I made this card for the following challenges: *Eclectic Ellapu - masculine, *Here Come the Boys - layers, *Allsorts - animals.

Have a wonderful Monday!  Cheers!

Happy Birthday Love:

Good morning all!  It is Family Day here so instead of getting ready for work, I get to stay at home and "play".  Best kind of Mondays!!!

I have been trying more variety in my cards.  I usually create a lot of "cutie-pie" cards, but it's also nice to make other kinds.  I try not to get stuck in a rut.

I have been trying my hand at...  hmmm... what do you call these kinds of cards?  Opposite of cutie-pie??

I inked up my JustRite For All You Do - Samatha Walker stamps and am playing again with this beautiful sketch.
Card Ingredients:  JustRite For All You Do and A New Day (Amazing Paper Graces) stamps, Making Memories and K&Co papers, Recollections cardstock, Hero Arts lace, Prima and Jolee flowers, American Crafts twine, Recollections gems, Craftsmart Black, Chocolate, Gold and Teal inks.  Tools: sewing machine, Oval and Scalloped Oval Nesties.

I made this card for the following challenges:  Ribbon Girls - teal/turquoise, Little Red Wagon - love, 'ABC' Challenges - stitching, JustRite Friday Challenge - sketch:

Have a wonderful Monday and thanks for the visit!!

All White Georgies:

Good morning all.  Good morning Friday.  Good morning long weekend.  Monday is a STAT holiday:  Family Day.  Love Monday STAT days...

So I decided to take on a craft challenge - white monochromatic.  When I see those words I cringe.  Especially with a stamp that needs to be coloured.  I thought these little Georgies would be perfect as they are white and I can't shade snowmen to save my life.  Done.  Normally I would give them some fun coloured scarves, but instead went with crystal glitter.  Done.  I just hope you don't think it looks unfinished.

In the end, I think it's my best white-on-white card.  Though I will probably wait another three years to make another one :)
Card Ingredients:  StampFairy digi, Recollections cardstock and recycled cardstock, Prismacolor pencils, Celebrate It ribbon and lace, Recollections gems, Martha Stewart Crystal glitter, K&Co foam flourishes.  Tools:  mineral spirits and blending stumps, sewing machine, Oval and Scalloped Oval Nesties, Making Memories edge distresser.

I made this card for the following challenges: Christmas Challenges w Sketches - sketch (do not display sketch), Simon Says and The Craft Place - white on white, Winter Wonderland - most wonderful time of the year, Christmas Stampin' - tied up.

AND...  please meet StampFairy's newest member, Mimi Hearts:

Have a wonderful weekend - stay safe out there, the roads are terrible.

Potted Lucy:

Please scroll down for my Papercraft Star post or go {here}.

We have a brand new challenge for you at All That Scraps.  This week is Anything Goes.  But please do remember, your project must include an image by CC Designs (including Amy R, Mashi Muffins, Sweet November, Lil Lads & Lolitas, and Webbie's Words) that can be found at All That Scraps Store.

Even though Spring is still a ways a way for us here in mid-Canada, one can still dream right?  I have already been thinking about what plants to put in the flower gardens this year which I usually do at the beginning of June...  almost there - just a few more months!

With that said, my card today reflects Spring.  I inked up my new Potted Lucy stamp and put her in a damask yellow pot to grow in :)

Card Ingredients:  C.C. Designs stamp, Craftsmart Black ink, MME and Recollections papers, Recollections cardstock, Prismacolor pencils, Celebrate It ribbon, American Crafts jute, White Orchard flowers, Prima pearl swirls, cheese cloth, Tim Holtz Distress ink.  Tools:  mineral spirits and blending stumps, sewing machine, Rectangle Nesties.

Floral Thank You:

Good morning all!  I hope you have been enjoying your week so far.  It's hard to believe it's Wednesday again and that we are almost half way through February.

This week's challenge at Papercraft Star is RED:

I just received my new JustRite For All You Do - Samatha Walker stamps in the mail and couldn't wait to use them for this card.  Unfortunately I don't have the corresponding dies (which I *thought* I did) and had to make due with what I had.  I built up a frame with Lattice Pendant Shapeabilities and Labels 3 Nesties.

I also "mixed" up my own shade of red ink.  Nothing seemed to match my paper and ribbon so I used Stampin' Up! Pomegranate, Craftsmart Red, and Tim Holtz Frayed Burlap inks to get this rusty red colour.

Again, I didn't go the traditional way of Valentine's. Much like Halloween, I don't care for Valentine's Day either (*gasp*).  I know, I know.  I like to save my excitement for Christmas :)

This card took me wayyyy too long to make, but in the end I think it was worth it :)
Card Ingredients:  JustRite For All You Do stamps, MME papers, DCWV and Recollections cardstock, Celebrate It ribbon and lace, Wild Orchard flowers, American Crafts twine, Momento metal label, Recollections pearls, as well as what is listed above.  Tools:  Labels 3 Nesties as well as what is listed above.

I made this card for the following challenges:  Stamptacular Sunday - main focus on sentiment, JustRite Friday Challenge - sketch:

Thanks for the visit and I apologize for my long-winded post, apparently I had a lot to say ;)
