Thanks, You're a Star:

Hi all!  Can you believe Christmas is just around the corner????  Time flies!!  I hope you are almost done the hustle and bustle of the season and take some time to relax soon.

I have made all my Christmas cards for the year so I am sharing a non-holiday card (shocking I know).

I started with Simon Says Stamp! Chevron stencil and Ranger Texture Paste.  I added some Reverse Confetti Confetti Cuts (Love Note, Tag Me, Pretty Panels Stars).  My sentiment is from Paper Smooches Many Thanks collection stamped in Smokey Grey VersaFine.  I finished it off with Studio Calico enamel dots and American Crafts twine.

Merry Monday 139:

Good morning all!   It's been another busy week and I didn't spend any time in the craft room (enter sad face here).

This week at Merry Monday, Karren has would like us to make a winter themed card.

This is our last challenge of the year - hasn't it just flown by???  Hopefully you will have a nice big stock of Christmas cards by now and can relax a bit.

started by using Reverse Confetti Seasonal Sentiments with Stampendous! Pirate Gold embossing powder.  I added Reverse Confetti Double Edge Scalloped Border and Let It Snow Confetti Cuts and finished it all off with some stitching and American Crafts twine.

I created this card for the following challenges

Merry Monday 138:

Good morning all!   It's been a crazy week and I didn't spend any time in the craft room :(  It's hard to believe Christmas is just a few short weeks away!!!!!  Oh I am so excited!!!!

This week at Merry Monday, Debbie has chosen the theme of using gold, silver, white, and one other colour on your card.

My fourth colour is, as you can see, red.

I had lots of fun on this one using Reverse Confetti Confetti Cuts (Double Edge Scallop Border, Tag Me, Office Edges).  I then embossed Inkadinkado Spirit of Christmas (discontinued) sentiment with Stampendous! Pirate Gold embossing powder.  To finish it off I added some stitching, Darice sequins, and American Crafts twine.

Merry Monday 137:

Good morning all!   What a super fantastic weekend I had.  I Christmas decorated all weekend and crafted, need I say more ;)

We bought a new tree this year as since we down-sized houses, our 12 foot tree just didn't fit anymore.

As promised, here is my non-traditional coloured tree.  It's full of purple, pink, green and teal goodness!!!  Though the other day I overheard an elderly lady (while looking at The Festival of Trees) ask her friend why anyone would put pink on their tree.  The answer is simple really, it's my favourite colour =)

And a day time close-up of all that glittery goodness!  And yes, I LOVE a full tree =)

This week at Merry Monday, I have chosen the theme of using a bird on your Christmas card.

In contrast to my Christmas tree, I went with a CAS bird card.  I started with My Favorite Things Diagonal Stripes stencil and sponged with Stampin' Up! Pomegranate (retired) ink.  I then added some birds from Wplus9 Love Birds and Paper Smooches sentiments in Onyx Black VersaFine. I finished it off with some Doodlebug and MME enamel dots
