Birthday Lollies:

Good morning all!  I am on a role with using my stash!  Yay me!

Today I started with a lollipop die from C.C. Designs (retired) as the "showcase" of my clean and layered card.  I added Reverse Confetti's Triple Chevies Confetti Cuts and an Altenew Label Love stamped in Hero Arts Field Greens.

I created this card for the following challenges:

Enjoy your Sunday!!

Birthday Berries:

Happy Saturday all!  I hope you have been enjoying your weekend.  It is rather icky and windy out today so I decided it would be the perfect day to do some crafting (or sleeping like Pixie has decided).

I also wanted to start using my stash a bit more so I started digging around and found some die cuts that I have never used.  Perfect!!

The strawberry die cuts are from C.C. Designs (retired) which I used with some tasty foam sheets, which gives the berries a fun texture.  The die is from Avery Elle's Simply Said: Happy Elle-ments with a So Happy sentiment stamped in Memento Pear Tart.  To finish it all off I added a few Freckled Fawn dew drops.

I created this card for the following challenges:

Enjoy your Saturday!  Thanks for the visit - cheers!!!

FUSION {Wedding Bells}:

Happy Thursday all!  I hope you have been enjoying your week.  I apologize for not being around much - we have been spending a lot of time outside building fences, planting trees etc.  I love to give everything 100% of my attention and I feel like my crafting has been thrown to the back burner.  Hmmmm - need to change that, and soon!!!

We have a new FUSION challenge for you - enjoy and have fun!!!!!

PROCEDURES:
1. Play with just the sketch challenge.
2. Play with just the inspiration photo challenge.
3. Or you can create FUSION by combining BOTH challenges into one card.
4. Use the challenge graphic and link back to Fusion in your post.
5. Please read the other considerations on the Our Rules Page before playing along
.

So I chose to do both, well sort of again.  My LO is loosely based on the sketch but when I put it all together the sentiment didn't want to fit nicely so I had to revamp it a bit.

I decided to bring out the watercolour paints again (I feel so "artsy" painting!).  I stamped and masked Clearly Besotted Fresh Flowers and heated with Stampendous! Opaque White embossing powder.  The sentiment is from Clearly Besotted Dandelion Dreams stamped in Versafine Onyx Black.

Merry Monday 159:

Good morning all!  I hope you enjoyed your weekend.  It's Victoria Day here which means a long weekend Monday (my favourite kind of long weekends!).  We have been spending a lot of time outdoors building this, and planting that.  Hopefully by next Summer we can just simply enjoy our new build yard.  But in the meantime, it sure has been fun landscaping =)

This week at Merry Monday, Debbie has chosen the theme of using a NON-EVERGREEN on your Christmas card:

I must admit, I have ONE non-evergreen tree stamp.  So it was a no-brainer to me where my card was headed.

I did however want to create a watercolour effect so that is exactly what I did.  I painted directly on my Hero Arts Winter Trees stamp, spritz it with a bit more water, and viola!  Done!

I added a Avery Elle Winter Wreath sentiment (in watercolour as well), American Crafts twine, and some sequins.

Merry Monday 158:

Good morning all!  I hope you enjoyed your weekend.  We bought a 20 foot tree and managed to get it into the ground yesterday - so excited that our new build yard is coming together!!!  I can't wait to see birds in our trees (we are bird lovers) =)

This week at Merry Monday, I have chosen the theme of using a STENCIL on your Christmas card:

I must tell you a secret.  I struggled IMMENSELY with this challenge.  And this is MY challenge.  I love using stencils.  I must have put too much pressure on myself as this was my THIRD attempt at a card.

I started with some texture with My Favorite Things Diagonal Stripes and Ranger Texture paste.  The die is from Avery Elle's Simply Said: Happy Elle-ments with a So Happy sentiment stamped in Versafine Onyx Black.  I added some Reverse Confetti's North Pole Wishes Confetti Cuts and lastly some sequins and gems.

With Sympathy Watercolour:

Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms, including furbaby moms, aunts, godmothers, and all the ladies out there!  You all make the world a better place =)

Today I am sharing a card with you which includes a bit of watercolouring (one of my new favourites).  There is something about painting that is so relaxing.

I stamped Clearly Besotted Fresh Flowers and heated with Stampendous! Opaque White embossing powder. I then painted the image with watercolours and spritzed with water after to created a "messy" look with the colours bleeding together.  The sentiment is from Revere Confetti's Petals 'N Posies stamped in Versafine Onyx Black.   Lastly I added a couple Doodlebug Beetle Black enamel dots.

I created this card for the following challenge:

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday.  Cheers to you all!!!

Fusion {French Twist}:

Happy Thursday all!  I hope you have been enjoying your week.  Nothing really exciting happening on my end, but I must say, they week as flown by (again!)

5. Please read the other considerations on the Our Rules Page before playing along
.

So I chose to do both, well sort of.  My LO is loosely based on the sketch and now that I look at the inspiration photo, it is loosely based on that as well.  (Note to self, follow more closely next time!)

I decided to bring out the watercolour paints on this one and also dust off an old, old, old Stampendous! Jumbo cling (discontinued) and heated with Stampendous! Opaque White embossing powder.  The sentiment is from Avery Elle's So Happy set stamped in Versafine Onyx Black

I had so much fun with this card and want to make more painted watercolour cards!!

Merry Monday 157:

Good morning all!  Here we are in May already, almost time to start planting trees and building a fence.  Can't wait to have our own yard soon!!!

This week at Merry Monday, Bonnie has chosen the theme of wet or dry EMBOSSING on your Christmas card:

Welcome back Katie - can't wait to see your fabbie creations again!!

I chose to do some heat embossing starting with Avery Elle's Joy To The World heated with Stampendous! Opaque White embossing powder.  I used some Doodlebug Santa Express paper scraps with Reverse Confetti's Class Act Confetti Cuts;  added some stitching and MME Red and Freckled Fawn enamel dots.
