Merry Monday 185:

Good morning all!  I hope you enjoyed your weekend. The Christmas Season is officially upon us with only 2 1/2 more days of work left!!!!  Wahooooooo!

This week at Merry Monday, Nina has chosen the theme of BOOTS on your Christmas card:

This will be our last challenge of the year and we hope to see you back, bright eyed and bushy tailed for 2016!!

I admit, I was stumped.  I have mittens, scarves, skates, stockings, socks.  But no boots.  So I dug to the bottom of one of my Christmas drawers and found this little ELF GUY.  Granted he was wearing what looked like elf leggings but I felt I could at least work with that!!  So I grabbed some pom poms and bows and created some "wow" boots.

I started my layers with My Favorite Things Blueprints (as always!) and Die-namics Horizontal Stitched Stripes.  I also reached for a Reverse Confetti Tag Me Too Confetti Cut and a SugarPea Designs Merry Makers sentiment.

I created this card for the following challenge:

As You See It

As always, do not forget to check out the rest of my teamies' fantastic creations at Merry Monday and come play along too!!!

Thank You. Really.:

Hi all!  Happy Saturday!  Today is my crafting day and tomorrow I bake.  Yikes.  I usually bake once a year, and Christmas so special that I make an exception.  I really dislike being in the kitchen but I do however make some pretty tasty Christmas treats =)

I started my layers with My Favorite Things Blueprints and created my background with Die-namics Stitched Snow Drifts.  I added a MFT Thanks So Very Much sentiment.  I custom cut basically every corner so it took a bit longer than usual but I think it came out clean and simple.

I created this card for the following challenges:

MFT Color Challenge

MFT Sketch Challenge

Inkspirational

Hope you all have a super fantastic Saturday!  Cheers all!

Merry Monday 184:

Good morning all!  I hope you enjoyed your weekend. We can now officially say Christmas is NEXT WEEK!!!!

This week at Merry Monday, Lori has chosen the theme of BAKING on your Christmas card:

I thought I would try something a bit non-traditional and added a cupcake and frosting sentiment to the word Merry Christmas.  I think I came together quite fabulously!  In fact I think that should be my new holiday greeting =)

I started my layers with My Favorite Things Blueprints (as always!).  I added My Favorite Things LLD Delicious Birthday sentiment and Paper Smooches Christmas Sampler sentiment.

And lastly Die-namics LJD Sweet Treats were placed on MFT Stencil Swiss Dot.  Oh and the holly comes from Reverse Confetti North Pole Wishes Confetti Cuts.

Poppin' Thank You:

Happy Sunday all!  I have been crafting all weekend and using a lot of my new goodies.

No Christmas.  Nope, no Christmas cards or shopping or decorating or watching Christmas movies happened this weekend.  I feel a little lost!

In fact I have been making thank you cards and watching Twister on tv.  LOVE that movie!

I wanted to challenge myself and use Christmas colours for a non-Christmas card, and it worked!  I think anyways!

I started my layers with My Favorite Things Blueprints (as always!).  I added a Die-namics Horizontal Stitched Stripes, Die-namics Cross Stitch Circle STAX, Reverse Confetti Woodgrain Confetti Cuts and Tag Me Confetti Cuts.  Lastly I added Die-namics LLD Soda Pop Bottles and My Favorite Things LLD Soda Pop sentiments.

I created this card for the following challenges:

The Paper Players

Enjoy your Sunday - cheers all!
